Central Rescue UK is the only urban based Swift Water Search and Rescue Team within the West Midlands.  From its inception our key vision has been to support the emergency services in times of need relating to flood situations.

Our extensive skills and knowledge lie in the area of Water Based Search and Rescue techniques with additional knowledge of Land based Search and Rescue techniques, both supported by First aid. We are tasked by DEFRA to respond to any emergency flood situation and also the Blue light services, we have a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with West Midlands Police.
